Berries. Our yard is filled with berries. On the south facing side of our house we have several raspberry bushes that have been blooming since August. The boys know exactly where to go and how to pick the berries. They love raspberries.
Last week we found out out that our boys are not the only ones who enjoy a good raspberry. In fact, we had a visitor who also eyed our bushes. A mama moose! It was only the second moose I had seen in Alaska, so, it was pretty exciting for us.
After mama moose checked out the area, just behind her came two baby moose! Can you guess what they were after?
My raspberry bushes. :( Now our bushes are raspberry-less and they don't have any leaves either! They've been ransacked. No more raspberries for us this year. But it was pretty cool to see the moose in our yard.

Oh my goodness!! I just caught up with you and your new place looks amazing--but what lies outdoors is the best part. I hope you find your community really soon, and until then, enjoy those sweet boys you have!! :) Miss you!!
