It's finally fall. I am so happy.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Even the hot San Antonio weather can't bring my mood down: apple cider, sweaters, changing leaves, cool evenings and pumpkin patches. Welcome, Fall.
One of the local churches in the area hosts a pumpkin patch that we've been going to each year since moving to San Antonio. The cool part about the pumpkin patch is that it happens to be at the same church as Sammy's school. Sammy was so excited to "show off" to his daddy the awesome pumpkin patch at his school.
This was obviously Penn's first year at the pumpkin patch and I'm not so sure he knew what to make of it. He fell asleep on the car ride to the patch and when he awoke was obviously confused about his whereabouts. It was very funny. But he warmed up to the pumpkins and had a great time too.
Sammy still talks about the "geen" tractor at his school's pumpkin patch. :)

My boys at the pumpkin patch. Can you see the confused expression on Penn's face?

Sammy's traditional picture on the saddle. Check out the other two years. He's grown so fast!
Happy Fall!
