Stop #3 was to Sandbridge Beach, VA just south of Virginia Beach. This is where Kristen's family had rented a house for the week. The beach trip is a long established tradition for them, they had a scrapbook of every trip they've taken to the beach since 1992 which was really cool to see.
Also, it was the first time since San Diego that Sammy had been to a beach. He was, well, a little unsure about the sand and the waves. But that's okay, he loved the pool and getting to be with his grandpa.
They had a few ball sculptures at the beach and Sammy was SO SO happy! He couldn't contain himself. He ran from ball to ball as fast as he could with his arms up high. I love that fact that he's running so fast that his hair is standing up straight in the picture.
